If you go to January 2012 and scroll down, you will find a discussion of the facts and myths in regard to SEIU Heathcare Michigan and the Quality Community Care Council, and there it says that member dues are 2.75%.

     This article includes a video about a couple who take care of their two disabled adult children, and in the video is a shot of the remittance advice they get from the state. It gives the gross monthly payment (per child) as $786.61 and the dues deduction as $14.87. That comes to a little under 1.9%. Maybe they pay less because they are not union members.
