Lansing city council campaign
contributions
October 28, 2019
Except for Adam Hussain, the 3rd ward incumbent who
is running unopposed, Lansing city council candidates were required to
submit 3 campaign finance reports so far this year:
-
A pre-primary report for the period
1/1/2019-7/21/2019
-
A post-primary report for the period
7/22/19-8/26/19
-
A pre-general election report for the period
8/27/19-10/20/19
Hussain only had to submit a pre-general election
report covering the period from 1/1/2019-10/20/2019.
The candidates will also have to submit a
post-general election report for the period 10/21/2019-11/25/2019.
I've provided links to the reports for each
candidate below, along with a list of contributions $200 or over
compiled from the reports. The reports were obtained from the Ingham
County clerk's website.

In addition, two political action committees (PACs)
have made direct expenditures supporting incumbents, that is, other than
by contributing to the candidates' campaign finance committees. We've
received 3 flyers paid for by Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce PAC:
