Michigan State Police Troopers
Association: Retired Troopers PAC
The Troopers Association has two PACs,
one for active troopers and one for retired troopers. The retired
troopers PAC is discussed below; the active troopers PAC is
discussed here.
Based on campaign finance reports
submitted by the Retired Troopers PAC, it appears that retired troopers
finance their PAC themselves. It appears they made two contributions
in 2015, on February 9 and October 19. The amounts were usually the
same on both dates, but vary by individual retiree. The most common
amount by far was $20.00; others include $7.50, $10.00, $12.50,
$17.50, and $80.00.
In 2014, they made one contribution,
almost all on either February 9 or October 19. Most contributions
were for $20. 132 retirees contributed.
