This is
one of two analyses I did of BC/BS PAC contributions to members of the
Michigan Senate in 2007. This one was done from BC/BS PAC reports. The
other was done from campaign
reports submitted by the senators (actually, their campaign committees).
Since the reporting schedules for independent committees and candidate
committees are not the same, the period covered by this analysis is 10/21/06 through 10/20/07. The
analysis of the campaign
committee reports of the senators covers the period 11/28/06 through 12/31/07.
The
following table shows total contributions from BC/BS of $58,950 for the period
10/21/06 through 10/20/07. Party affiliation (R
or D) is in the P column; total amount contributed by BC/BS is in the Amount column; and the date of the last contribution
made during the period
is in the Date column (some senators received multiple contributions).
